Description
We are looking for someone who wants an exciting and varied role as a Manager at Korttids Lindbacken 2 in Vargön.
Korttids Lindbacken provides short-term care and short-term stays according to LSS. The operation is divided into two well-adapted floors where younger children stay on one floor and older children/youths on the other. The children/youths stay in the facility for varying numbers of nights each month based on their assessed needs. The assignment involves providing relief for the children's guardians and offering the child/youth a change of environment.
The role also includes short-term supervision (recreational activities) for school-aged youth with extended school care.

Working hours are primarily during weekdays in the daytime, but some evening and weekend work may occur.

Responsibilities
In the role of manager, you have a leading function where you are expected to lead and distribute the daily work in the organization. In this role, you alternate between supporting the youth and performing administrative tasks where you are responsible for planning the operation in a way that enables your employees to carry out their work with good quality and with the youth in focus. In dialogue with the unit manager and the organization's educators, you also plan the educational content of the operation. You act as the unit manager's extended arm and maintain continuous contact with the unit manager regarding the operation's planning, goals, and development.
Together with support assistants, support educators, and the unit manager, you will work according to the goals and guidelines that apply to the operation and guide and support your employees in methodological work and interaction. You will work with the unit manager on the development of the operation, quality assurance, competence, and daily operations.
You will participate in forums with other managers, where you will receive support and guidance in your role. The work may also involve collaboration with other units and/or development work within the department.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree from a social pedagogical program, social care line/program, or another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
We want you to have a positive view of people and be able to see the individual's needs. You are flexible and responsive and have the ability to work both independently and in a team. To succeed in the role, you should be structured and have a good ability to plan, organize, and follow up. The assignment includes the ability to collaborate with relatives, guardians, schools, and other important individuals/professions around the individual.
You should be able to make decisions based on the needs of the operation and the individuals and be communicative towards colleagues and management in the decisions made. You should be able to reflect on yourself and your work in relation to the assignment and be a good support to your colleagues in the same. Additionally, you should have personal maturity, be stable, clear, and have self-awareness. Experience in the field and knowledge of individuals with intellectual disabilities is a requirement. Knowledge and experience in clarifying pedagogy is an advantage, as well as previous work in leadership roles and change processes. Experience in short-term operations and working with youth within our target group is also advantageous.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
A valid driver's license (B) is required.
